Otelier has opened nominations for its 2026 Night Auditor of the Year award.
The honor is part of the company’s annual Night Auditor Appreciation Day, taking place May 18. Launched in 2023, Night Auditor Appreciation Day recognizes the role night auditors play in hotel operations.
“Night auditors play a foundational role in hospitality—not just operationally, but financially,” Rob Lawrence, CEO of Otelier, said in a statement. “They ensure each day’s financials are accurate and complete, impacting reporting, forecasting and decision-making across the organization. Many hotel leaders began their careers in this role, which builds discipline, accountability and a deep understanding of hotel operations.”
The Atlanta-based software provider invites hotel operators, managers and team members to nominate night auditors who demonstrate exceptional performance. Five finalists will receive a themed gift basket, and one will be named the 2026 Night Auditor of the Year. The winner will also receive a $250 Amazon gift card and industry recognition on May 18.
Recent winners include Angelica Bonbright, Radisson Hotel Pendleton Airport (Pendleton, Ore.) in 2025, and Christina Kieffer, The Confluence Hotel (Hastings, Minn.) in 2024. Otelier also encourages hotel leaders to recognize their overnight teams on May 18 through internal celebrations and appreciation efforts.
The company supports night audit teams through its DigiAudit platform, which is designed to help automate workflows, store nightly reports and streamline document routing for improved compliance, accuracy and visibility.
