2 Comfort Inns open in NYC

Choice Hotels International’s Comfort brand has opened two new-build hotels in Brooklyn and Long Island City, N.Y. Prospect Brothers Realty developed the Comfort Inn Prospect Park – Brooklyn and Surjeet Kaur and Balbir Sandhu developed the 94-room Comfort Inn Long Island City.

The two new hotels offer complimentary Wi-Fi and hot breakfast, a fitness center and a business center. The Long Island City Comfort Inn also will include a 2,400-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 250 people. Both are located a few blocks away from a subway station, ensuring quick access into the city.

The Comfort brand currently has more than 300 properties in its pipeline, 80 percent of which are new construction. More than 60 hotels are expected to open this year, including locations in Dallas, Nashville, Pittsburgh, San Antonio and San Diego.
