25Hours expands into France

The 25hours Hotel Co. has opened its first property in a non-German speaking country. The 237-room 25hours Hotel Terminus Nord in Paris is the 13th property in the brand's portfolio and the first beyond Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In a statement, CEO Christoph Hoffmann said that the opening was a dream come true. "The neighborhood is very attractive as a hotel location and popular with guests from all over the world."

Architect Axel Schoenert and his team ensured the historic building retained its heritage and blended with the neighborhood. Armin Fischer, Andrea Kraft Hammerschall and their creative design team at Dreimeta in Augsburg, Germany, were responsible for redesigning the 237 rooms, and were supported by Parisian art consultancy agency Visto Images, which curates art collections for hotels. Local references and inspiration from Africa, Asia and the East are reflected in many details, materials and accessories.

Dining options at the hotel include the Israeli-Mediterranean Neni and the Sape Bar. The Speakeasy Bar can accommodate 10 guests for intimate gatherings.

The hotel also has two multifunctional meeting rooms adjacent to the restaurant for small events or meetings, with room for up to eight or 14 people, respectively.

The 25hours Hotel Co. was founded in 2005. The company expects more openings in 2020, including the 25hours Hotel Florence (Italy) and the 25hours Hotel Dubai. It formed a strategic alliance with AccorHotels in 2016.
