6 hotels open in western U.S.

In the past month, numerous hotels have debuted in the western U.S. Here are six of those openings.

The Lodge at Blue Sky

The Lodge at Blue Sky, a 46-room luxury resort and member of the Auberge Resorts Collection, opened in Park City, Utah. Situated on a 3,500-acre ranch, the property is centered around the central Sky Lodge, where guests can find the resort’s signature restaurant Yuta, a bar and lounge, a private dining room, a wine room and a 70-foot infinity pool. Additionally, the property includes a 7,400-square-foot spa and 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.

Comfort Inn in Tonopah, Nev.

A new-build, 60-room Comfort Inn opened in Tonopah, Nev. Atlanta-based IPD Hospitality manages the property, its first in Nevada. The hotel features complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, a fitness center and a business center. Nearby attractions include the Lunar Crater National Natural Landmark, the Old Tonopah Cemetery, the Tonopah Historic Mining Park, the Central Nevada Museum and the Mizpah Club Casino.

Archer Hotel Redmond

Archer Hotel Redmond, a 160-room luxury boutique hotel, opened in Redmond, Wash., late last month. Owned, developed and operated by LodgeWorks Partners, the property includes a restaurant and bar, a fitness studio, an indoor pool and 10,000 square feet of indoor meeting space. The hotel marks the brand’s sixth in six years and its second on the West Coast.

Residence Inn by Marriott Big Sky/ The Wilson Hotel

The 129-suite Residence Inn by Marriott Big Sky/The Wilson Hotel opened in Big Sky, Mont., on May 30. Town Center Investment Holdings owns the hotel and Urgo Hotels & Resorts manages it. The hotel includes a bar serving cocktails and small plates, 2,894 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a ski and bike work room, a 24-hour onsite food and beverage market and a guest laundry room.

Hampton Inn & Suites Buena Park

The 102-room Hampton Inn & Suites Buena Park, the city’s first hotel development project in more than 20 years, has opened in California. Managed by Twenty Four Seven Hotels, the hotel offers complimentary hot breakfast and Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and a fitness center. The property is located 7 miles from Disneyland Park and 8.2 miles from the Anaheim Convention Center.

Hampton Inn & Suites Tucson Tech Park

HSL Properties opened the 104-room Hampton Inn & Suites Tucson (Ariz.) Tech Park. The hotel, managed by Prism Hotels & Resorts, features a fitness center, an outdoor pool and a 24-hour business center. Nearby attractions include the University of Arizona Tech Park, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Pima Air & Space Museum and Tucson International Airport.
