Best Western’s SureStay brand opened two new hotels in Quanah, Texas, and Kearney, Mo.
The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Kearney consists of 41 guestrooms and four suites, all with microwaves and mini refrigerators. The property also offers an outdoor pool, BBQ grills for guest use, a complimentary hot breakfast and free wireless internet throughout the hotel.
The property’s location is 25 minutes from Kansas City, Mo., and is positioned for guests interested in exploring the sites of the city and areas around Kearney. The hotel is located near the Jesse James Farm and Museum, which tells the story of one of America’s most famous bandits. The hotel is also close to Smithville Lake.

The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Quanah also opened its doors. The property, located at 1100 W. 11th Street, consists of 25 guestrooms and 25 suites, complete with microwaves and minifridges. The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Quanah also offers a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary hot breakfast, free wireless internet and an indoor pool and heated hot tub and spa.
The property’s location places it a short drive from Cooper Breaks State Park and the historic Quanah, Acme & Pacific Depot. Guests visiting for the annual Quanah Fall Festival will be within walking distance to the event, and golfers will be able to play a round at the nearby Quanah Country Club.
