Best Western Hotels & Resorts has opened three converted properties in the last several weeks in Virginia, Texas and Louisiana.
Best Western Doswell Hotel
The Best Western Doswell (Va.) Hotel is owned by Nandit Mehta and has 50 guestrooms.
The property recently underwent a $1.3 million renovation and now has a new colorful, modern design, alongside a refreshed lobby and breakfast room and a new 24-hour fitness center. Each guestroom has a mini fridge and microwave. Public spaces also include an outdoor pool, guest laundry facilities and a business center with print and fax services.
The Best Western Doswell Hotel, about 20 miles north of Richmond, Va., is near the King’s Dominion amusement park, The Meadow Event Park and the State Fair of Virginia.
Best Western North Side Inn
The Best Western North Side Inn in Wichita Falls, Texas, is owned by Nitin Chanana and has 94 guestrooms. The property recently underwent a renovation to incorporate greys, mauves and eggshell shades throughout the building as well as a Scandinavian-meets-midcentury-modern aesthetic. Each room has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a dedicated desk area.
Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center with a stationary bike, treadmill, elliptical and free weights; a meeting room to accommodate up to 25 people; and business center capabilities including free faxing and wireless printing. Coming in spring, the hotel will have an outdoor lounge and barbecue area.
The hotel is near Sheppard Air Force Base, downtown Wichita Falls, the Wichita Falls Multi-Purpose Event Center and Midwestern State University.
Best Western Heritage Inn & Suites
The Best Western Heritage Inn & Suites in Broussard, La., is owned and operated by Divi Hospitality and General Manager Dennis Patel and has 67 total guestrooms and kitchenette suites.
The hotel recently completed a renovation and now has new flooring, furniture, bedding, artwork and Smart TVs. Public spaces include a 24-hour fitness center, outdoor pool and guest laundry. Business travelers also have access to a business center with complimentary printing, faxing and scanning services.
