First look at Hilton's new Cancun all-inclusive resort

Hilton opened the Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort, the company’s 90th hotel in Mexico and 10th all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean and Latin America. The recently converted and renovated 540-room resort in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, formerly the Royal Uno Cancun Resort, has both oceanview guestrooms and beachfront suites, eight food and beverage offerings, adult-only and family-friendly pools and a spa with signature wellness treatments.

“Hilton is committed to operating best-in-class hotels in Mexico, and we are thrilled to welcome travelers to the newly unveiled Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort,” Jorge Giannattasio, senior vice president and head of operations, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton, said in a statement. “The resort is an important addition to our rapidly expanding footprint in the Mexican resorts and all-inclusive market and demonstrates Hilton’s ability to deliver an unparalleled experience and superior stay to guests from around the globe.”

Mexico has one of Hilton’s largest portfolios with 90 hotels open. The company’s expansion in the country is slated to continue with nearly 30 additional hotels in various stages of development. The Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort is the company’s 14th all-inclusive resort.

Centrally located in Cancun’s popular Hotel Zone, the resort is 10 miles from Cancun International Airport between the ocean and the Nichupte Lagoon. Nightlife, shopping malls, ancient Mayan temples and golf courses are all within six miles of the property.
