My Place Hotels of America opened its newest location in Davenport, marking the brand’s fourth location to open in Iowa since August 2017. Located at 4653 Progress Drive, the three-story, 64-room hotel offers access to Interstate 74 and I-80.
America’s 42nd My Place Hotel is the third of 40 My Place Hotels planned by owners Tom Caruth and Matt Eller. The property is independently managed by Eller Enterprises, which opened its first two My Place Hotels in the Des Moines area during Q4 of 2017. Megan Tjernagel, Eller Enterprises CEO, said the group is excited to introduce the Quad City area to its newest hotel, while also looking forward to expanding its development pipeline in the near term.
“Davenport is a great location for an extended-stay hotel, but it makes a perfect location for a My Place Hotel,” Tjernagel said in a statement. “With such great attractions, events and employers in the community, we believe we’re uniquely fit to serve the area’s many visitors no matter their reason for travel or length of stay. With this being our third My Place Hotel, we have found a way to fill an important space in every market and look forward to filling them in four more communities over the next 12 months.”

All My Place Hotels offer amenities such as a My Kitchen in each guestroom, complete with a two-burner cooktop, a microwave and a full-size refrigerator. The property is pet friendly and will also include on-site laundry facilities, a grilling pavilion, an outdoor pool, complimentary internet and a 24-hour My Store, located in the hotel lobby.
