Good Neighbor debuts new Guesthouse hospitality concept

Good Neighbor, a retail concept for global brands and locally designed goods that opened in spring 2020, has announced a new hospitality concept, Guesthouse, opening in Baltimore in late summer.

Shawn Chopra designed each room with materials from Baltimore, Egypt, North Africa and India, where Shawn and his wife are from. Chopra pushed to reimagine larger landmarks, such as the Pyramids of Giza or the step-wells in India, into interior details, such as the lobby bar and the powder-room sink, with locally sourced materials.

The boutique hotel will have seven rooms, each with its own theme such as Young Hearts Run Free, a room with bunk beds that caters to family travelers and Sunsets, a west-facing room.

Good Neighbor was founded by Chopra and his wife, Anne Morgan, with the goal of creating a multitouchpoint retail concept.
