How Sydney’s Bondi Beach inspired Nic Graham’s design for QT Bondi

QT Bondi opened in the shores of Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, with original artwork by artist Shaun Gladwell in the lobby.

QT Bondi has 69 individually-styled studios and apartments designed in collaboration with Australian designer Nic Graham, with the property’s location inspiring the aesthetic. There are bespoke detailing and designer furnishings to provide dramatic yet elegant interiors. Design-wise, the intention was to focus on creating individualized home-away-from-home light-filled spaces. In use is a color palette of pastels, while furnishings and décor depict the summer beach vibe. There is also timber whose curves resembles and represents the motions of a wave.

The guestrooms, styled by QT stylist Anna Roberts, have designer décor also inspired by Bondi Beach.
