New Fairfield Inn & Suites opens in Terrell, Texas

Atlanta-based Hotel Equities opened the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott—Terrell, Texas. Arnika Addison serves as GM of the hotel, which is located less than 30 miles east of Dallas, just off U.S. Route 80, and is designed for business travelers and tourists alike.

“We are pleased to open the Fairfield Inn & Suites for business in this booming area of Terrell, Texas,” Joe Reardon, SVP of business development and marketing for Hotel Equities, said in a statement. "Hotel Equities was engaged in the project from inception, which allows us to deliver unparalleled value to our owners on the architectural, development and construction sides of the project, along with our pre-sale and ramp of the hotel.”

The new hotel includes the latest Fairfield design and décor package. In addition to complimentary Wi-Fi and hot breakfast, the hotel offers rooms and suites that provide separate living, working and sleeping areas. Other unique amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and 3,600 square feet of meeting space to accommodate up to 300 guests.

The hotel offers access to local attractions, including Six Flags over Texas, Splash Kingdom, Hawaiian Falls and the No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum. The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel joins the list of $105 million in new city building permits issued for the area since 2010.

The hotel was developed by Scenic Capital Advisors. "We are excited to be a part of the community of Terrell,” Thomas Chen, principal for Scenic Capital Advisors, consultant to a family office focusing on commercial real estate in Texas, said in a statement. “Our partnership with Hotel Equities from the very start allowed us to have complete confidence knowing that an experienced team was overseeing our project.”
