A new TownePlace Suites by Marriott is open in Aberdeen, N.C.
The hotel is located on a 3.8-acre parcel on Columbus Drive in Aberdeen. The 89-room hotel was built for $8.5 million and is owned by the McPeake family. The hotel is located across from the McPeake family's other property, a Hampton Inn & Suites.
The TownePlace has a formal grand opening planned for June 2. The hotel's guestrooms include a kitchen and separate sleeping and living areas. Also available are an outdoor pool, fitness room, business center and a front patio and rear patio with a grill area.
McPeake Hotels also acquired an 8-acre tract of land behind the Hampton Inn, with plans to develop a Hilton Garden Inn with 5,000 square feet of meeting space.
