Aimbridge Hospitality to manage the Westin Resort & Spa in Whistler, British Columbia

OHR Whistler Management, operator of The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler, British Columbia, entered into a management agreement with Aimbridge Hospitality. Under the agreement, Aimbridge invested in OHRWM, and effective immediately Evolution Hospitality, a subsidiary of Aimbridge, will work closely with O’Neill Hotels & Resorts to lead the day-to-day operation of the Resort.

Aimbridge Hospitality currently operates more than 800 hotels and resorts, with nearly 400 properties under various Marriott flags. Evolution Hospitality, which specializes in full-service, lifestyle and condo-hotel operations, will provide expertise and resources that will bring incremental value to the property’s operations. 

“We look forward to Aimbridge Hospitality and Evolution Hospitality bringing their focus and expertise to The Westin Whistler,” John O’Neill, president and CEO at OHR, said in a statement. “This partnership will be instrumental in continuing the resort’s upward trend and delivering a world-class guest experience to maximize bottom-line performance for the benefit of the 419 home owners of this property.”
