The 107-room Hotel Revival in Baltimore has appointed Donte Johnson general manager. Johnson steps into the role with nearly two decades of experience, including close to 10 years as a GM.

Johnson began his hotel career in 2001 with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, rising from concierge to director of guest services, area revenue manager, assistant GM and eventually GM. Over his career, he has served as GM for four Washington, D.C., hotels: the Kimpton Topaz Hotel, the Capitol Hill Hotel, the Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel and, most recently, the Riggs Hotel Washington, D.C.

The Hotel Revival is a Joie de Vivre hotel in Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood. A 14-story boutique hotel, it features a restaurant and market, a rooftop restaurant and bar and four event spaces that total 4,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The hotel was developed by Denver-based real estate company NuovoRE and is the first Joie de Vivre property in Baltimore.
