Chesapeake Hospitality to manage Jacksonville Crowne Plaza

Chesapeake Hospitality, a third-party hotel management company, added the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport Hotel, located at 14670 Duval Road in Jacksonville, Fla., to its growing portfolio. Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality, made the announcement.

The Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport Hotel, located 2 miles from the Jacksonville International Airport, is being added to the portfolio of more than 30 properties managed by Chesapeake, bringing its number of managed hotels in Florida to six. The hotel is owned by Gregory Morris, principal of Eagle Landings of JAX.

The Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport Hotel has 317 guestrooms and 10,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel offers several dining options on-site, including Savannah Bistro, Biscotti’s Internet Café and Rainforest Lounge, as well as in-room dining. The property also includes amenities such as Wi-Fi and 24-hour business and fitness centers, and guests also have access to complimentary airport transportation. In addition to its location near the airport, the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport Hotel is also located off I-95 near the JAXPORT Cruise Terminal, catering to the needs of tourists as well as business travelers.
