Driftwood Hospitality Management takes over Miami boutique

Driftwood Hospitality Management has taken over management of the Palihouse Miami Beach, Fla., and officially rebranded the property—formerly known as the Greenbriar Hotel—as the Hotel Trouvail Miami Beach. The property is owned by Greenbrier Partners.

"We are excited to bring this new concept which promises a more St. Tropez-meets-Miami experience," Scott Cornelius, regional director of operations for Driftwood Hospitality Management. "The rebrand will maximize the investment made in the interior of the building and elevate the property to a more sophisticated experience, appealing to a new, affluent clientele.”

The property, close to both the beach and Miami’s nightlife, is a 70-room boutique hotel in a restored Art Deco building. Most of its rooms have kitchenettes to combine hotel service and amenities with Airbnb-sized rooms. The hotel will get a French-inspired restaurant in early 2023.
