Driftwood Hospitality promotes internally

Driftwood Hospitality Management, a North Palm Beach-based hotel management company, has made several internal promotions across its business divisions. 

“The hospitality industry has experienced quite a rollercoaster over the last two years, and we wouldn’t be in the position of growth we are today without our committed teams,” said Nasima Baerde, corporate director, human resources at Driftwood Hospitality Management, in a statement. “We deeply value all our employees working with us and we are so pleased to watch them meeting such great challenges and reaching towards an array of newer and higher responsibilities.”
 

Driftwood announced the following:

  • Bryan Postema has been promoted to managing director, Driftwood Capital Hotels. Postema has been with Driftwood since 2011, where he started his career with the company as the director of sales of the Sheraton Columbus and most recently as regional director of operations since 2017.
  • Richard Slutter has been promoted to regional director of operations, Lifestyle Hotels. Slutter has been with Driftwood since March 2018, having started his career with the organization as area general manager in Houston. Slutter is currently based in Houston and will oversee the company’s lifestyle hotels.
  • Dick Vreogindewey, the new regional director of operations, most recently was the general manager of Sheraton Salt Lake City hotel, a position he has held since 2019. He will be based out of Sheraton Salt Lake City hotel overseeing a portfolio of DHM properties in the western region.
  • Justin Gammon, promoted to regional manager, West, has been with DHM since 2019, most recently as general manager at the Marriott Mission Valley San Diego. Gammon continues to be based out of this hotel, while overseeing a portfolio of California properties.
  • Pete Korsos has been promoted to managing director, special assets. Korsos joined Driftwood in January 2020 as regional director of operations. Prior to joining DHM, Korsos managed Houston Marriott Sugarland. 
  • Andrew Pollock, promoted to regional manager, special assets, has been with DHM since 2008, starting as a general manager in Orlando and most recently as area general manager overseeing a number of Atlanta hotels.
  • Bill Toole, promoted to regional director of sales, has been with DHM since 2017 in the role of director of sales at the Hilton Durham. Toole will oversee the sales efforts for a group of DHM properties in his new role.
