A week after opening the first Hyatt Centric in Mexico, management company Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe has inked a contract for the Courtyard by Marriott Puebla Las Animas in the east-central city of Puebla, southeast of Mexico City.
The 154-room hotel, located on Avenida 31 Poniente, has a three-meal restaurant, a fitness center, an outdoor pool and four event rooms covering 2,163 square feet. The largest room can accommodate 80 persons.
According to the company, this management contract is in line with its expansion plan, which is focusing on the growth of branded urban hotels. It plans to continue seeking and analyzing investment opportunities in hotels and properties for acquisition, change of use, development and third-party management.
Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe’s portfolio now has 29 hotels with 7,130 rooms and a presence in 18 Mexican cities, including hotels currently in construction or expansion.
