New alliance connects AAHOA, HFTP

Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals and AAHOA are partnering to advance the hospitality environment to the benefit of their members and the overall industry. The groups, through their new allied agreement, will promote and have a presence at each association’s events, offer collaborative benefits to young professional members and more.

“I have great admiration for AAHOA and the initiatives it takes on; and since both our association networks overlap as do our foundational strategic goals, it only makes sense to work together,” HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe said in a statement. “Through our associations’ strategic alliance, we are facilitating the exchange of the best industry ideas and practices through the synergies of our respective young professionals.”

A new collaboration between the associations is sharing resources for young professional members. HFTP is offering a complimentary one-year membership to AAHOA young professional members and the two groups are hosting a young professionals networking event on June 28. Sponsored by Aimbridge Hospitality, the event is part of HITEC Orlando and is for HITEC attendees 35 and under.

"Just like AAHOA, HFTP exists to help its members better understand the industry's pressing issues and assists its stakeholders in finding solutions to their challenges more efficiently," said Neal Patel, AAHOA chairman and HITEC North America advisory council member for the past five years. "Our longstanding partnership with HFTP helps AAHOA elevate the ways we not only serve and connect our young professional hoteliers, but also our entire membership, and this strategic decision to align with HFTP to offer even more resources to our membership is a win-win for both organizations."
