Hotec, a division of Questex (parent company of Hotel Management Magazine), will be partnering with AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc.) to create care packs filled with critical supplies for women in need this June at the PGA National Resort in Florida during the 2024 editions of Hotec Operations and Hotec Design. In addition, attendees will participate in a paint-and-sip team-building activity with the option to donate their painting to the shelter.
AVDA offers lifesaving services while promoting violence-free, equitable relationships and creates the social changes necessary to end domestic and dating violence. For more than 35 years, their mission and services have provided critical support to thousands in the Palm Beach, Fla., area.
AVDA provides a Community of Hope through their state-certified domestic violence center that offers a comprehensive array of services for all victims of domestic violence including; a 24 hour crisis hotline, emergency and transitional housing, advocacy, counseling and support to help them live violence-free and self-sufficient lives.
