A number of hotels across the country have come under new management in recent weeks. Here are several properties with new operators.

California

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is set to manage the Four Points by Sheraton San Jose Airport in California. The five-story hotel has 195 guestrooms including 10 suites. The property has five meeting rooms with 7,856 square feet of function space that can accommodate up to 250 guests. An outdoor terrace has 3,000 square feet of customizable event space accommodating 80-200 attendees. Other public spaces include a fitness center, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a business center and the Hangar Bar and Grill.

The hotel is 1 mile from the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport and provides complimentary airport shuttle service. It also has easy access to Santana Row, the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and Silicon Valley. 

Colorado

Crestline will also manage the newly built 110-guest suite Residence Inn by Marriott Steamboat Springs in Colorado. The new hotel is less than 1 mile from the Steamboat ski area and is on the free local bus route to the slopes. It is also convenient to the downtown area. 

The four-story hotel has studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with storage space for sporting gear. It can also accommodate group gatherings in a 621-square-foot meeting room.
 
Each of the Residence Inn Steamboat Springs guest suites includes a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a sleeper sofa and a king-sized bed The hotel is pet friendly and the all-suite property includes complimentary amenities like ski and bike storage, a 24-hour fitness center and daily breakfast. The full-service bar is open for cocktails and local craft beer. Guests can also grill in the outdoor barbecue area, swim in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub or sit by the fire pit. 

Ohio

The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza is now being managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. The property’s 561 guestrooms were renovated last year. The property has more than 40,000 square feet of meeting space that incorporates the hotel’s French Art Deco style, including the two-story Hall of Mirrors. The hotel has Brazilian rosewood, marble, custom German nickel-silver fixtures and a décor of stylized Egyptian and floral motifs. 
 
The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza opened in 1931 and has been designated a National Historic Landmark and charter member of Historic Hotels of America.

Illinois

First Hospitality has assumed management of the Delta Hotels Chicago Willowbrook, outside of Chicago. The hotel reopened in August 2020 after an extensive renovation and rebrand and has 164 updated guestrooms. The company oversees three other hotels in the area (The Drake Oak Brook, Autograph Collection; the Sheraton Suites O’Hare; and the Courtyard by Marriott Glenview) and 17 other Marriott-branded properties throughout the country.

Delta Chicago Willowbrook has 10,682 square feet of event space spread across nine meeting rooms. The hotel is located within a short drive of Chicago’s O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport, as well as nearby attractions such as Oakbrook Center, The Morton Arboretum and Brookfield Zoo. 
 
First Hospitality was selected to oversee the hotel for the company’s expertise in marketing and sales for group business and diverse food and beverage concepts.The company will focus on direct sales efforts for the hotel’s meeting spaces and the onsite restaurant, Willby's Restaurant and Lounge. Formerly under IHG Hotels & Resorts, Delta Chicago Willowbrook recently rebranded under Marriott International.

Alabama

The Redmont Hotel, a historic hotel property in Birmingham, Ala., and part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, has selected Rebel Hospitality for hotel management services. 
  
The Redmont Hotel was redeveloped by Birmingham-based Rhaglan Hospitality. Located in the city’s downtown, The Redmont Hotel is the oldest hotel in Birmingham. Newly restored, the 14-story historic landmark has 120 renovated guestrooms. The property has 3,600 square feet of meeting space, including two boardrooms as well as two ballrooms connected by a mezzanine and New Orleans-style balcony. Each meeting space is equipped with built-in audiovisual equipment.
