Preferred Hotels & Resorts adds 15 properties

Preferred Hotels & Resorts added 15 properties to its portfolio in the third quarter, including six new openings.

The Global Ambassador in Phoenix joined the Legend Collection. Overlooking Camelback Mountain—where Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley converge—The Global Ambassador is an internationally inspired hotel set to open in December. Design elements include oak hardwood flooring,  fabric wallcoverings, custom walnut millwork, handmade leather fixtures and original artwork by Arizona-based artist Michael Carson throughout its 141 guestrooms. The hotel also has five dining venues and a wellness space.

Mayfair House Hotel & Garden in Miami joined Lifestyle Collection. Located in the center of the city's Coconut Grove neighborhood, the property reopened its doors in 2022 following a two-year transformation. Embracing original architect Kenneth Treister’s signature work, the landmark hotel honors aspects of Mayfair’s golden age across its 179 guestrooms, each with a private terrace, alongside curated art from local and international artists. Food-and-beverage venues include Mayfair Grill, Fountain Bar and the Caribbean-inspired rooftop calypso pool-bar, Sipsip.
