HEI to manage new Georgia Kimpton hotel

True North Companies has selected HEI Hotels & Resorts to manage a new Kimpton-branded boutique hotel that will be part of the West Alley Roswell mixed-used development in the Historic District of Roswell, Ga., which True North is developing.

True North expects the West Alley project to turn the Roswell Historic District into a sustainable destination with green space for community gatherings in addition to shops, restaurants, parking and the new 125-room hotel. All of these additions will serve as economic drivers for the area.

“HEI is proud to be a part of the West Alley project and will take great care to create a hotel that is in keeping with the charm and spirit of Roswell,” said Anthony Rutledge, managing partner and CEO of HEI Hotels & Resorts, in a statement. “This is a special community, and we are delighted to be working with True North and the West Alley team to reinvigorate the heart of the city.”

The interior design of the hotel will be created by Atlanta design firm Sims Patrick Studio, who will reflect local culture through art and curated spaces. The multilevel lobby spaces will connect a restaurant, rooftop bar with adjoining event, meeting and break-out rooms and specialty event hospitality suites—all anchoring to the new West Alley outdoor walkable spaces and retail shops.

HEI Hotels & Resorts currently manages several upscale and upper-upscale hotels and resorts in Georgia, including nine in Atlanta and The Brice Hotel (a Kimpton property) in Savannah.
