Tuesday's sessions at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) had a focus on economics and tourism. IHIF delegates heard from economists about how Europe should expect to see "a new normal" in terms of hotel development. Speakers from the UNWTO and World Travel & Tourism Council shared the latest data on the global footprint of the travel industry, including revenue and jobs. Attendees also heard from hotel company CEOs, and more than 120 speakers in breakout sessions throughout the day.
