Montage Hotels & Resorts has created a new parent company brand. Montage International will include Montage Hotels & Resorts, Pendry Hotels, Montage Residences and all other operations previously managed under the Montage Hotels & Resorts brand name.
The goal for the new parent company, Montage declared in a statement, is to "streamline communications and development activities" around the growing family of brands.
Montage Hotels & Resorts has launched five Montage hotels over the last 15 years, and its new Pendry Hotels brand will debut in San Diego and Baltimore early this year. With the Montage brand expanding internationally in 2018 with the opening of Montage Los Cabos in Los Cabos, Mexico, and with forthcoming announcements for both the Montage and Pendry brands in 2017, the company is using this moment to introduce a new parent company brand which will help
"I had a strong vision for the company when we first started, and through our ability to retain and secure dedicated investors, hard work from our devoted associates, and loyal brand enthusiasts, we've been able to grow significantly," Montage International Founder, Chairman and CEO Alan J. Fuerstman (who will retain his title and position under the new brand) said in a statement. "Under our new Montage International parent company branding, we look forward to continued momentum."
Montage International's annual revenues are expected to exceed $400 million in 2017, and the company is planning to expand to 12-15 properties by 2020.
