PCH Hotels expands third-party management services

Officials at PCH Hotels & Resorts have expanded the company's services to include third-party hotel management services for additional ownership groups.

“Historically, we have provided third-party hotel operations services for a select group of hoteliers, but as the market continues to rebound post-pandemic, we believe now is the time to begin offering our services to a larger pool,” PCH's Chairman and CEO Jim Buckalew said in a statement.  "Having operated hotels since 1999, PCH understands what it takes to manage a successful hotel that provides outstanding guest services and a profitable bottom line, with 2022 a record year."

PCH leaders have been involved with more than 500 properties. The company provides services in hotel operations, food and beverage management, revenue management, spa operations, capital budget management, accounting, human resources and IT. With a focus on experiential lifestyle hotels and resorts, the company has worked with branded and independent boutique hotels across the southern U.S. PCH also operates more than two dozen F&B outlets as well as six European spas.

Additional acquisition and development abilities offered by PCH include due diligence assistance, repositioning and rebranding analysis, brand selection and evaluation, capital expenditure assessment and CapEx plan development, hotel design and site plan analysis, IT Infrastructure, three- to five-year proformas, business plan development, market and revenue projections, franchise agreement review and assistance and pre-opening services.

“We have operated through multiple cycles and continue to produce enviable results when other companies simply have closed shop," Buckalew added. “We continue to receive an increasing volume of calls requesting our services, and we are confident we can provide stellar results for additional owners based on our existing performance standards. We are familiar with all the major brands in the select- and full-service categories, plus a wealth of F&B and spa experience derived from our full portfolio.

“With a growing number of hotels expected to change hands during 2023, an increased need for superior operators is needed,” Buckalew continued. “We are prepared and more than capable to meet that need.”

PCH is working with additional hospitality groups that have hotels in the pipeline.
