Adaptable Lighting: Apiales from Nuura

Nuura is expanding Sofie Refer’s Apiales lighting collection with the addition of the Apiales 1 pendant and two Apiales wall lamps. Refer was inspired by the shape of a flower bud, connecting the petals and stem. The metal “bud” holding the glass represents a flower bud, and both the Apiales 1 pendant and the Apiales wall lamps were designed with no visible screws or welds.

Apiales 1 is a simple pendant available in brushed brass or satin black, both with mouth-blown, opal-white glass globes. The design also makes Apiales 1 good for installing in a row configuration or at multiple points throughout the same room.

The Apiales wall line is available with a classic wall bracket or as a hard-wired version to be connected directly to the electrical wiring in the wall. The wall lamps are designed to represent a single small flower picked from the umbellifer-inspired chandelier and echo the form of the chandelier design. It comes in brushed brass or satin black with a mouth-blown, opal-white glass shade.

The new Apiales units are expected in stock starting January 2022.
