Backcountry Containers, a company that turns shipping containers into tiny homes, has launched the SaunaPlunge Container, an all-inclusive sauna, cold plunge, swimming pool and hot tub in one modular unit.
Backcountry Container Founder Jon Meier designed the SaunaPlunge Container with exclusive heating and cooling technology that lets the 7'x10' pool go from a cold plunge, hot tub or swimming pool and maintain the desired temperature. The pool holds six adults, while the sauna can accommodate up to four adults.
Inspired by the Scandinavian background of wellness practices, the SaunaPlunge Container has clean lines, natural materials and large windows. The sauna—with cedar tongue-and-groove walls and ceilings, a stone-style tiled floor, and an electric heater—also includes a Bluetooth stereo system.
