Carl Hansen & Son presents the VLA26 Vega Chair and the Foyer Series by Vilhelm Lauritzen. For the first time the VLA26 Vega Chair, previously only found in the Vega Concert Hall, and the Foyer Series, exclusively created for Radiohuset in Copenhagen, will now be available to a wider audience. The collections represent the Danish cultural heritage and the perception of functionalism.
The lightweight and stackable VLA26 Vega Chair from 1956 features an elegant mix of steel, wood and textile or leather. The curve of the back of the chair gives it a distinctive character, and the legs are finished with wooden feet.
In collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, the Foyer series is reborn. The Foyer series consists of a bench, a sofa and a lounge chair, all characterized by a unique interplay between the oak frame and the upholstered seats and backrests. The series is upholstered in fabric or leather.
