Dometic’s DM50 minibar is now enabled for Universal Power Over Ethernet, making it compatible with properties working with UPOE systems.
The Marriott Sinclair Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas is the first hotel nationwide to include this Dometic DM50 UPOE minibar in their newly renovated hotel. By incorporating UPOE products like the Dometic DM50 UPOE minibar, the hotel is expected to save "significantly" on operational expenses, the company claimed, with savings of up to 25 percent on the property's energy bill due to the lower energy consumption of smarter devices.
In addition to the monthly savings, the property achieved significant savings on the renovation costs of the hotel by utilizing UPOE components.
