Italian bathroom fixture firm Gessi has launched the Venti20 Collection, meant to bring the “Roaring Twenties” aesthetic into modern times. Gessi selected Spanish designer-artist Lázaro Rosa-Violán as a partner for this project because of his roots in Barcelona’s design scene. The decorative style of Venti20 is a contrast to the minimalist bent of the brand’s other collections.
Venti20 has detailed handles, fluted bodies and reflective cuts that create an industrial vibe, as well as metalworking with soft curves. The collection includes mixers for basins, baths and showers as well as a full range of accessories.
Gessi has expanded the collection to include bath furnishings as well, including freestanding tubs, washbasins and wall-hung bidets. Finishes are available in classic looks like aged bronze and antique brass or modern chrome and brushed black metal.
