Nature-inspired Walls: Arise from Merenda Wallpaper

The new Arise collection by Merenda Wallpaper was created by the brand’s founder, Sarah Merenda, using her original drawings and paintings. The collection uses botanical designs and geometric prints.

The designs also are available in Eco Textured Type II (Terralon)—a sustainable, commercial-grade vinyl option with an orange peel-like texture as a PVC-free vinyl alternative. It is made from 31 percent post-consumer recycled content and is manufactured without the use of Brominated flame retardants.

  • Banana Palm Dream: This wallpaper pattern was inspired by the curves of banana leaves found at Longwood Gardens.
  • Hydrangea Garden: Painted with fluid, expressive brushstrokes, Hydrangea Garden turns walls into a tapestry. The design was inspired by the delicate petals of hydrangea blossoms.
  • Let’s Dance: A homage to the artistry of the 1980s, Let’s Dance evokes energy and movement. The design was inspired by the artwork of Keith Haring and an illustration by Merenda’s partner Max Kahan, Let’s Dance has bold, gestural pen strokes that create a visual symphony of form and color in 10 distinct colorways named after iconic dance moves.
  • Lightning and Thunder: Designed together, Thunder and Lightning draw inspiration from Merenda’s sketches of dancing lightning bolts and playful hexagons, using contrasting pops of color and jagged geometry.
