New flooring: Shaw Contract launches carpet, vinyl tile lines

Shaw Contract is starting off the year with two new flooring collections.

Campus is a Cradle to Cradle-certified carpet tile collection inspired by the Bauhaus aesthetic, working on the same principles of collaboration and experimentation as Bauhaus to create designs that merge and adapt across multiuse spaces. The tiles are "rooted in patterns and tones" that work across spaces, from calm neutrals to corresponding, multicolored bright options.

Compound + Cast is a new luxury vinyl tile flooring collection inspired by natural materials. Each style and colorway creates a palette of neutrals and colors that work together. This collection’s aesthetics are meant to be soothing and unassuming, delivering a classic look with updated maintenance. Compound + Cast has built-in protection from wear by pairing a 20-millimeter wear layer with an ExoGuard topcoat. No polishing requirements means a reduction in overall maintenance time and costs.

Compound was created to showcase subtle beauty marks that mimic the look of concrete. Cast was born from curious play of aggregate materials, much like the appearance of age-old terrazzo. The collection was developed by mixing and molding plaster, cement and resin.

Compound + Cast can be installed separately or together. Colors of Compound are combined within the aggregate visual of Cast, ensuring a palette of options within a single collection.
