Octagonal Shapes: Doheny Series from California Faucets

California Faucets has launched the Doheny Series, one of two new bath faucets created in collaboration with interior and product designer Christopher Grubb. Characterized by its unique octagon shape, Doheny is meant to evoke the historical architecture of castles, monuments and cathedrals, as well as more recent Art Deco and micentury designs.

A band detail around Doheny’s handle adds depth and texture while creating a split-finish look. The line also has more than 25 finishes, including 15 PVD finishes that are guaranteed against tarnishing.

Beyond the faucet, the Doheny Series has a range of coordinated accessories designed by Grubb. Matching hand showers, towel bars, hooks, paper holders and cabinet knobs and pulls all make use of the octagon. Even the shower plate and volume controls are octagonal.
