Quiet Walls: Felted acoustical wallcovering from Wolf-Gordon

Wolf-Gordon has updated its Felted acoustical wallcovering line with the addition of six new micro-engraved designs.

“We’re very focused on alleviating noise as commercial interiors continue to evolve with the return to interior environments,” Marybeth Shaw, chief creative officer, marketing and design, said in a statement. “These patterns enhance our acoustical offering and add immediate visual interest and dimension to spaces in need of noise mitigation.”

These sound-absorbent wallcoverings are made with 95 percent post-consumer content recycled from plastic bottles and are free of conflict minerals, heavy metals, phthalates, PVC and solvents. The durable material is bleach-cleanable and resists fading from sunlight. With an NRC rating of 0.20, they are designed for use on vertical surfaces, panels, operable walls and any place sound reduction is desirable.

Interval is inspired by symmetry and the play of light and shadows cast on building facades, creating a checkerboard pattern of parallelograms. Produced on Felted colorway Feeling Blue.

Palmier creates a tropical ambience with its palm leaf motif, while the fluid movement of the leaves is defined by a linear pattern burnished in the negative spaces. Produced on Felted colorway Jolly Jade.
