Carl Hansen & Son is reintroducing its Asserbo Series, originally designed by Børge Mogensen in pine for his own holiday home in Asserbo, Denmark, in 1961.
Returning in 2022 and now made from solid, dark-oiled eucalyptus, the calm grains, reddish-brown color and scarcity of knots in the wood combine with soft accents of leather or fabric upholstery to provide a casual, utilitarian flair.
The Asserbo Series by Børge Mogensen is comprised of a table, a bench (with or without backrest) and a wall-mounted backrest.
