Canadian furniture and lighting company hollis+morris has premiered new versions of its Anchor sconce and pendant.
Joining the Seaside family of products, the Anchor sconce and pendant expands hollis+morris’ portfolio to include frosted-edge acrylic that amplifies the LED inside. The solid wood shape and glowing acrylic disk provide the visual weight and prominence to attract and hold attention.
Like the previous Seaside family of products, Anchor lighting was inspired by founder and designer Mischa Couvrette’s sailing journey from the Canadian Maritimes where he spent two years refurbishing a sailboat, sparking a dialogue with wood and metal and creating designs that drew from their shapes and elements.
