Sleeping in Style: New beds from Duxiana and Rottet Collection

Lauren Rottet—architect, designer and founding principal/president and owner of Rottet Studio and Rottet Collection—has collaborated with Swedish bed manufacturer Duxiana on three new bedding options. The mattress brand and the Dux Bed—known for its customizable components—fit with Rottet Collection’s new bed frames.

The three bed frames—Aspen, Baldwin and Essex—expand upon Rottet Collection's portfolio pair with the Dux 101 and Dux 303 frameless mattresses.

“I couldn’t be more excited about collaborating with Duxiana and offering the Dux frameless mattresses with the beds along with our gorgeous co-branded linens,” Rottet said in a statement.

The Essex Bed is constructed of a wooden frame with a leather, lacquer or wood headboard wrapped in metal banding. Wooden nightstands with concealed drawers are recessed on each side, that incorporate lighting. Inspired by the Rocky Mountains, the Aspen Bed has an upholstered leather bed with wood frame and a curved headboard. The Baldwin Bed is comprised of a sturdy wood frame and headboard also upholstered in leather with other RC options available and trimmed in metal. A padded headrest adds support while built-in wood and stone side tables provide a place for day or nighttime accouterment.

All designs are customizable with a variety of Rottet Collection fabric options and COM as well as wood finishes: Natural, Grey or Black Cerused Oak, Natural Walnut and Smoke Ebony. Metal details are offered in Polished Stainless, Polished Champagne, Polished Bronze, Dark Bronze and Polished Graphite. The stone finishes include Carrara marble, Nero Marquina marble and Travertine.
