Hotel Hartness in Greenville, S.C., has concluded its management agreement with Hay Creek Hotels and transitioned its operations in-house.
According to Hartness Development—which owns the 73-room hotel that opened in 2022—the move is intended to more closely align hotel operations, the guest experience and long-term planning with the Hartness brand.
“Hotel Hartness was created to offer an experience deeply rooted in hospitality, community and a sense of place,” Sean Hartness, president and CEO of Hartness Development, said in a statement. “Bringing management in-house allows us to further strengthen that vision while maintaining the exceptional level of service and guest experience our visitors have come to expect.”
The property's leadership team will remain in place, led by general manager Glen Williams. Hartness Development said there will be no changes to existing reservations, guest services or daily operations as a result of the transition.
