Boutique California inn emerges from renovation

Napa's Milliken Creek Inn has completed a months-long renovation that has added custom-made furnishings, modern lighting, curated art, new paint, hardwood flooring and fixtures. Design for the project was overseen by Jennifer Wojtkiewicz and Shelley Harden of Indigo Coast Design.

The inn has a neutral palette accented with wood and greenery. Four of the 11 redesigned guestrooms now have their own fire pits. All have king-sized beds, most have fireplaces and many have oversized soaking tubs. In-room tech upgrades include Bluetooth Tivoli speakers and 55-inch Samsung televisions with complimentary Apple TV streaming services. iPads let guests browse magazine and newspaper subscriptions, make breakfast selections or order in-room dining.

The hotel has also added mobile keyless entry and the Whistle text messaging platform, which lets guests communicate instantly with inn team members. Guests may also check out iPads with the inn’s Netflix account for onsite use.
