Champalimaud renovates Miami's Conrad Brickell

Conrad Brickell, a hotel situated within the Brickell Arch Tower that occupies an entire block within Miami’s Financial District, is completing a substantial renovation. Mast Capital engaged interior design firm Champalimaud Design to transform the public spaces and amenities, meeting spaces, corridors and guestrooms.

Additionally, a new culinary experience under the direction of chef Pablo Lamon, called Nativo Kitchen + Bar (NKB), will showcase Miami cuisine.

Champalimaud’s design approach sought to converge the architectural components of the skyscraper with elements drawn from downtown Miami and Miami Beach. The design is a departure from the corporate and business hotels in the area with an emphasis on rich colors inspired by local flora, neutral palettes and soft geometric shapes.

Mast Capital and partner Angelo, Gordon & Co. purchased the Conrad Hotel in 2017, creating the first Conrad Hotels & Resorts franchise agreement in the U.S. Prominent Florida projects developed or owned by Mast Capital include the Miami River Walk, 3811 Shipping Avenue in Miami near the Shops at Merrick Park, The Quay Fort Lauderdale and Treasures on the Bay in North Bay Village.
