Dallas-area Hilton completes renovations

The Hilton Dallas/Southlake Town Square has completed its months-long propertywide renovation project. Driftwood Capital, the hotel’s ownership group, provided a significant investment into the complete redesign of the hotel.

“We are proud to unveil our new-and-improved property to guests, corporate clients and locals alike,” General Manager Mark Coulter said in a statement. “The new contemporary style and residential feel of our fully renovated spaces will give travelers a sense of home, while providing a high-quality, luxury brand lodging experience.”

The hotel redesigned all areas, including the guestrooms, lobby and public areas, several meeting spaces, fitness center and outdoor pool. Guestrooms were fully upgraded with new décor and furnishings including beds, furniture and carpeting, and newly designed bathrooms. The design combines the style of a Hilton brand with the small-town charm of Southlake, Texas.

The lobby and public areas underwent full cosmetic upgrades. New furniture, carpeting, tables and updated technology turned the lobby area into a chic lounge space. The Coffee Spot, a grab-and-go food and beverage stop, was expanded to include a self-checkout kiosk.

The hotel’s onsite restaurant, Copeland’s of New Orleans, underwent extensive renovations and design updates as well, creating a bright dining space. An oyster bar is slated to open within Copeland’s in fall 2022.

Various meeting and event spaces within in the hotel received a refresh, which included new carpet, wall coverings and the addition of designed furniture. A 3,000-square-foot venue is currently being converted into Hilton’s Unique Meeting Concept Rooms.

The fitness center expanded to more than 1,200 square feet, an addition of 300 square feet, complimented by fresh paint and new flooring. New equipment was added including two Peloton bikes. A new pool and veranda furniture round out the renovations.
