Frontier Development & Hospitality Group and Kana Hotel Group completed the $7 million renovation of the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Columbus, Ohio. Located at 2700 Corporate Exchange Drive, at the I-270/I-71 interchange within the Corporate Exchange Business Park, the hotel now has a redesigned lobby, public and recreation areas, substantial room upgrades, a reconfigured meeting area, and a re-conceptualized restaurant and bar.
The renovations feature a transformed, open-air atrium with a new second story Wi-Fi connectivity zone, lounge and restaurant, “The Exchange,” as well as a bar highlighted by the two-story, back-lit artistic structure, the “O,” representing the Buckeye State.
The renovations also included enhanced interiors and finishes for the 224 guestrooms, expanded meeting spaces, and banquet facilities. The two-room suites were designed to appeal to business travelers and families.
The hotel also has an expanded 9,200 square feet of meeting space, incorporating seven meeting rooms, a business center, an exercise facility, indoor-outdoor swimming pool, a gift shop and a one-mile jogging loop around the hotel and adjacent office complex.
