Hotel Equities to oversee Georgia Residence Inn renovation

Hotel Development Partners has selected Hotel Equities to oversee the renovation for the Residence Inn by Marriott-Atlanta Perimeter Center/Dunwoody in Dunwoody, Ga. HE’s development services program aims to create value for stakeholders by using the company's relationship with the brand and leveraging vendor partnerships to deliver cost-savings for owners and investors.

Owned by Hotel Development Partners and managed by Hotel Equities, the hotel originally opened in 2017. The renovation is meant to sustain the hotel’s place among the brand’s top-performing hotels. The renovation project aims to further elevate the guest experience and revitalize the property's aesthetics, amenities and functionality.

"We are thrilled to be selected as the trusted partner for the renovation of the Residence Inn in Dunwoody," Hotel Equities President and CEO Brad Rahinsky said in a statement. "Our Development Services program allows us to leverage our deep industry knowledge and extensive network of suppliers to deliver outstanding results for hotel owners and developers. We look forward to working closely with our partners to maximize the property's potential."

HE’s Development Services division is a holistic solution that addresses the obstacles developers encounter during new hotel development, renovations and conversion projects. Patrick Trainor, VP of projects and facilities, leads the Development Services team for Hotel Equities and has nearly 30 years of development experience, having completed more than 200 new-build, renovation and conversion projects. Trainor also serves on Marriott's Capital Asset Planning and Execution board.

“It’s so important to work with a partner who has the ability to look at a remodel project through multiple lenses,” Trainor said. “With experience comes a greater level of brand knowledge—what works well and what doesn’t—and the ability to apply best practices to make projects cost-effective and operationally efficient at every level. Hotel builds and property improvement plans are major investments emphasizing the importance of working with a team with resources and industry connections to make sure you get it right and avoid costly mistakes.”
