The Inn at the Pier in Pismo Beach, Calif. has joined the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio. The inn, owned by Somera Capital Management, is the first lifestyle Hilton property in the Pismo Beach market. The 104-room hotel, operated by Quorum Hotels & Resorts with design by Level 3 Design Group, recently got a fresh look for its guestrooms and suites, 1,200 square feet of meeting space, fitness center and lobby, which includes the addition of a new, full-service lobby bar. A new rooftop restaurant and bar will debut later this summer.

The refurbished Inn has a contemporary coastal design aesthetic with colors, textures and patterns inspired by the Central California coastal bluffs, sand dunes and ocean tides. Touches of greenery and natural materials are woven throughout the property’s indoor and outdoor spaces.

Cypress Beach House, a new Cal-Italian restaurant concept on the hotel's rooftop, is set to open this summer, combining contemporary Californian fare with Italian touches.

“As a Curio, we will continue to celebrate everything that makes our destination truly special, now with the reach of a global hospitality brand,” Quorum Hotels & Resorts President Todd Moreau said in a statement. “The substantial renovation, upgraded amenities, and brand new rooftop dining concept—coupled with the Hilton Honors loyalty program—will heighten the experience for our loyal past guests, in addition to bringing new travelers to the market.”

Inn at the Pier Pismo Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton has a 24-hour fitness center with Peloton bikes and private meeting spaces.
