Palace Resorts completed the renovation of Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun, the brand's flagship property in Cancun. The adults-only resort enhanced its interiors and exteriors, including a completely redesigned lobby, upgrades to its meeting space, new guest suites, redefined restaurants and newly decorated common spaces including bars and lounges.
Involved in the redesign were architect Roberto Elias, and Francois Frossard of Francois Frossard Design (FFD).
In the redesign of the lobby, the design team gave a nod to the era of grand hotel lobbies as urban meeting places.
The interiors of the 260 rooms and suites were redesigned with a neutral color palette featuring shades of white. Most suites have ocean views of the waters of Cancun, while others have views of the Nichupte lagoon. Each suite has private French-style balconies, living spaces, a king or two standard double beds with new memory foam mattresses, double whirlpool tubs and oversized bathrooms with rainshower-heads.
In-room amenities include USB charging ports and upgraded touch lighting control. In addition, each suite has CHI blow dryers, mini-bars, Smart TVs and Lavazza coffee makers.
All of the restaurants were similarly revamped with new décor. For dining, the property has Bella, Blanc, Lumiere, Yama, Terraza "Wood Fired Bistro", Pure, Glasé and K'akau. Meanwhile, Cava is a lounge with a live band, a DJ, pool tables and big screen TVs.
Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun has more than 8,115 square feet of space for events. The terrace has a cocktail patio with sunset views with more than 2,254 sq. ft. Upgrades to these facilities include new décor, new carpeting, upgraded modern doors and flooring, as well as environmentally friendly, intelligent controls for lighting, air conditioning and sound.
The property also has Blancspa, which features a hydrotherapy area, hot/cold plunge pools, sauna, herbal steam room, chromotherapy, sauna therapy, relaxation lounge and 19 treatment suits.
