NYC Kimpton updates event spaces

New York City's Kimpton Hotel Eventi has completed the top-to-bottom refresh of its event spaces.

The property's team worked with designer Reza Nouranian to reimagine the hotel’s third- and fourth-floor event spaces. Looking to create a relaxing environment, Nouranian took inspiration from the light and natural tones found in the hotel’s lobby as well as its "crisp and airy" atmosphere. The event spaces use bright colors, custom dyes, new light fixtures, contemporary drapes, reupholstered furniture and hand-dyed carpets to balance brightness with "quiet grandness."

“We are thrilled to debut the new event spaces at the hotel,” said Daniel Entenberg, GM of the Kimpton. “We believe that these updated areas provide a warm and inviting environment for every type of event ranging from a product launch to a corporate gathering, a wedding to a holiday party. We are continuously looking for ways to enhance our offerings and stand out among the competition.”

The hotel has 16 meeting rooms and event spaces that include outdoor terraces, prefunction spaces and specialty suites, totaling 20,458 square feet. Guests can also book an event at the Big Screen Plaza—a 15,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor multilevel public plaza with a 30-foot multimedia art screen. Several of the meeting rooms have a view of the big screen, which can display logos or images.
