Olshan Properties unveils $27.3M transformation of Hilton Columbus at Easton

Just outside of Columbus, Ohio, Olshan Properties has completed the $27.3-million interior redesign and amenity enhancement of the Hilton Columbus at Easton.

The property completed a $14-million interior guestroom redesign in 2016. This time around, Olshan Properties focused on an overhaul of the hotel’s public areas, investing more than $13 million to continue the transformation, including the creation of a new lobby bar, Easton Social, and a new restaurant called Herb N’ Kitchen.

With the renovations, Hilton Columbus at Easton now has a fully redesigned lobby and entryway with marble highlights contrasted with neutral colors, rich fabrics and textures. It also has a new seating area. The lobby terrace has new furniture for lounging and entertaining.

Meanwhile, relocated to the first floor, the Executive Lounge was enhanced with a private terrace.

In addition to the new public spaces, the Hilton Columbus at Easton added more than 9,000 additional square feet of meeting rooms and event space as well as new digital signage technology. Each meeting room now has a digital reader board, as well as reader boards located near elevators and entrances.  The team also installed a virtual concierge board, with touch screen abilities, flight updates and directions to local attractions.

The hotel similarly modernized its pool and fitness areas. The pool was reimagined with new tiles and resort-style chaise lounges, with the pool area added with a private outdoor leisure space.  Meanwhile, the fitness center was expanded and the hotel acquired new exercise equipment.

First opened in 2000, the 345-guestroom Hilton Columbus at Easton is located near the John Glenn International Airport (CMH). Carrie Richards is the GM of Hilton Columbus at Easton.
