Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort redesigns guestrooms

The Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort has completed a multi-million-dollar renovation of all guestrooms as part of a broader property-wide upgrade.

Managed by Norwalk, Conn.-based HEI Hotels & Resorts, the renovation marks the completion of the first phase of a two-phase redevelopment project that will also include upgrades to the hotel lobby, restaurant, market, meeting space and pool areas.

The redesign incorporates a family-oriented aesthetic with artistic and cultural references integrated throughout the property. As part of the redesign, all guestrooms were renovated from floor to ceiling and now feature new furniture, wood flooring, Smart TVs, updated bathrooms and refreshed amenities. The property also installed new beds and linens throughout the guestrooms.

“Our rooms are now furnished and outfitted with what both business and leisure travelers want and need,” Graham Parker, complex managing director, said in a statement. “We are delighted with the results and cannot wait to welcome guests to their home-away-from-home. Phase Two is scheduled to start in September after the Labor Day holiday.”

Located in the Lake Buena Vista area near Walt Disney World Resort, the hotel is positioned near major Orlando attractions including Disney parks, Universal Studios Florida and SeaWorld Orlando. On-site amenities include three food-and-beverage outlets, an outdoor pool, whirlpool, cabanas, fitness center, business center and approximately 27,000-square-feet of meeting space.
