Revenue Analytics has launched Climber RMS in North America, expanding access to its automated revenue management technology to independent hotels, boutique properties, family-owned hotel groups and regional chains.
The cloud-based revenue-management system—which is already in use across Europe and Latin America—is designed to provide automated pricing capabilities for smaller operators that may not currently use a revenue management platform.
According to Atlanta, Ga.-based Revenue Analytics, many independent and mid-sized hotel operators continue to manage room rates manually, relying on internal market knowledge and competitor monitoring rather than automated pricing tools. Founded in Lisbon, Climber RMS was developed specifically for hotel operators, with a focus on addressing the operational realities of independent properties and smaller hotel groups.
“We are excited to bring Climber RMS to North America. This launch extends Revenue Analytics’ capabilities into the independent and regional hospitality market, reflecting our commitment to putting enterprise-grade revenue science within reach of all hoteliers,” Alex Harrington, CFO at Revenue Analytics and general manager of Climber, said in a statement.
The platform includes automated rate updates, publishing rates up to 24 times daily based on market conditions. Additional features include pickup and competitor reporting, customizable pricing rules and automated rate distribution. Operators maintain oversight of pricing parameters and business rules while the system manages rate adjustments within those guidelines.
According to the company, hotels using Climber RMS have reported revenue increases of up to 30 percent, along with operational efficiency gains.
